Depart Dubuque for Gettysburg, Pennsylvania at 8:00 a.m. As we travel through Indiana and Ohio, we'll hear stories of life during the Civil War from our member-living-historian Miss Jenny and enjoy the Midwestern scenery. Overnight in eastern Ohio.

Arrive at Gettysburg National Battlefield Park about noon. After an orientation at the Visitors Center, we're off on an in-depth tour of the battlefield. Among other sites, we'll visit Big Round Top and Little Round Top, the site of Pickett's Charge, and Devil's Den. After dinner, we'll have a guided tour of sites noted for their paranormal activity. Overnight in Gettysburg.

Today we'll conclude our investigations at the battlefield, then visit the historic town of Gettysburg. A special evening meal and presentation by local paranormal inversigators is planned. Overnight in Gettysburg.

Leave Gettysburg for Antietam National Battlefield Park. After our mid-day arrival and lunch, we'll prepare for our battlefield tour at the Visitor Center. The Battle of Antietam (or Sharpsburg) was the bloodiest single day of the War and changed the course of the rest of the conflict. We'll tour the battlefield extensively, visiting Bloody Lane and Burnside's Bridge, among other sites. Overnight in Sharpsburg, Maryland.

We'll spend the morning, the 146th anniversary of the battle, investigating paranormal activity at selected locations on the battlefield. At the discretion of the group, we will leave for an optional tour of nearby Harper's Ferry, West Virginia, site of action leading to the Battle of Antietam and abolitionist John Brown's fabled raid. Late afternoon we will depart for Manassas, Virginia, where we'll meet for dinner with local paranormal investigators. Overnight in Manassas, Virginia.

The area around Manassas, Virginia, was the site of two separate campaigns (also known as First and Second Bull Run, for the stream that runs through the area), one in the summer of 1861, and again as part of a complex campaign by Lee and Jackson in the late summer 1862. We'll have an orientation at the battlefield park's Visitor Center, then explore such sites as Stone Bridge and the Henry House Hill. Dinner and guided tour with local paranormal investigators is planned. Overnight in Manassas, Virginia.
